Yes,
it is summer. Yes, it is hot, and you should be wearing those beautiful pastel
colors. However, don’t turn your nose up at every piece of dark clothing you
have in your closet. Last Sunday, I decided to rock the navy blue.
I
picked a cute, A-line, navy blue dress with drop-shoulder sleeve. It was just
right for a sophisticated church function. This little number can be dressed up
or dressed down. I added some pearl jewelry, bangle bracelets, and some high-heel silver shoes to
spritz up this look.
Yes,
you can wear dark colors in the summer. I have even worn some cute chocolate
tops in warm weather. I simply pair the darker color with a white or another
light color, add some accessories, and I’m good to go.
