First of Summer Fashions

Summer is here! Warmer weather has finally decided to put in an appearance. Where you are here in the South or other places hop into some great warm weather wear.

I love, love rompers. They can be worn long. They can be worn short. They can be worn with or without sleeves. No matter how you decide to wear them, so them off in style.
The model is wear a beautiful, floral romper with gold sandals. This romper just screams summertime fun.

Another great way to celebrate the warmer summer weather is with a jumpsuit. Jumpsuits can be worn alone or with accessories. I am all about the accessories. Here you see these jumpsuits in stripes and in solid colors. They have been accessorized with belts, sexy shoes, and unforgettable glasses. Shouts out to Tosha Temple and her boutique. Tosha is modeling one of the outfits that she sells in her store.

Okay. I had to get in on the summer fun. I have on a pair of my favorite Susan Graver red pull-on pants. I am wear a top from Walmart and a pair of high heels. I wore this outfit to work before doing this photo shot. Can you believe it?! Nine whole hours before doing a photo shoot. You go Susan Graver for making some extremely comfortable pants. (Of course, I didn’t wear the high heels to work and then try this. I’m not that crazy!)

I also took a few shots in my Alegria shoes. I love these sandals because they are so, so pretty, and they make me feel feminine. Don’t you just love the woodgrain look? I think that’s what makes these sandals pop!

My make-up was done by myself. Products used were: Avon eye shadow, Wet & Wild solid eyeliner for the bottom of my eyes, Maybelline liquid eyeliner for the top, Maybelline mascara, and L.A. Colors for my lip gloss.

Here’s the Diva of all Divas. My mom. She is wearing a cute dress from Belk’s. I don’t know the designer. She paired it with some cute black sandals. She is rocking burgundy hair color, bangle earrings, and bracelets.

Wicked Halloween Wear

Wicked Halloween Wear

Okay...okay. I know Halloween is over, but I just couldn't help it. I had to share these fun Halloween photos with you.
This is me catching a pose wearing my favorite cream colored leather jacket. Here in the south, it is extremely cold. So, I can wear this cute little leather jacket from G.I.L.I.

My G.I.L.I. leather motorcycle jacket up close.
Yes, we still have flowers in bloom. This is me in my black Halloween shirt and black drawstring pants.
 Can you say "Boo" ?
I love this shirt. I am also wearing my shark tooth necklace that I purchased in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Isn't this the best ways to celebrate the Halloween holiday? I thinks so.

Holiday Fashion

Holiday Fashion

The holiday season is upon us. Thanksgiving is within a few weeks, and Christmas is right around the corner. Don’t go into the holiday season wondering what you should wear. Jazzy up the those every day outfits and create a dazzling outfit for the holidays.

I turned an ordinary tank top into a show piece for a fall banquet. All I did was add a statement necklace and earrings (from Avon) and a sequin top to the baby blue tank. I also added some bangle bracelets to add some playful fun to the outfit. The pants are calypso black pants that I purchased from Blair.

My mother jazzed up her beige tank with a multi-colored jacket and some bangle earrings and a long necklace. My dad is wearing a traditional suit.

It doesn't matter if it's Christmas or Thanksgiving. Don't get stuck wondering what to wear. Dress up some of your everyday items and make them say "Wow"!

Ready for Fall: Mixing It Up

Ready for Fall: Mixing It Up

My favorite time of the year is almost here. Fall is quickly making her way back onto the scene. Leaves are changing, and temperatures are dropping. Transform those summer fashions into fall ready outfits.

Okay, I live in the South. The temperature is dropping, but it is going slowly. I decided to mix up a little summer with a little fall. The pants are lace. And, I love~love this color! Yes, it is a summer color, but I mixed the hot pink lace pants with a fall neutral. I confess. I am not sure what this color truly is so I am going with slate. I added a pink and white necklace, brown wedge heel sandals, gold bangles, and a pink butterfly ring by Joan Rivers.
Easy into fall. Mix up your fall and summer wear.

Navy Blue in the Summer

Navy Blue in the Summertime

Yes, it is summer. Yes, it is hot, and you should be wearing those beautiful pastel colors. However, don’t turn your nose up at every piece of dark clothing you have in your closet. Last Sunday, I decided to rock the navy blue.

I picked a cute, A-line, navy blue dress with drop-shoulder sleeve. It was just right for a sophisticated church function. This little number can be dressed up or dressed down. I added some pearl jewelry, bangle bracelets, and some high-heel silver shoes to spritz up this look.

Yes, you can wear dark colors in the summer. I have even worn some cute chocolate tops in warm weather. I simply pair the darker color with a white or another light color, add some accessories, and I’m good to go.

Going Mellow with Yellow

Going Mellow with Yellow

The warmer weather is here, and one of my all-time favorite colors is yellow. I love this bright and festive color. It can turn a blah day into a wow day. Here are so shots of pretty yellow this summer.
Here I am in a lacy yellow dress and a yellow jacket. I added gold jewelry and brown sandals.

I am wearing a cute little yellow top. I can wear this top as either a dress or as a top. It is long enough to be a dress and short enough to be worn as a top. I decided to wear it as a top and add some nice, crisp white pants. I also accentuated it with some turquoise jewelry and turquoise shoes.
Men look great in yellow too! Here my co-worker is wearing a nice, little yellow shirt with a coordinating bow tie. Love it.

Make a Statement with Summer Whites and Other Neutrals

Summer Whites and Other Neutrals

As the weather gets warmer, it is time to pull out those beautiful summer whites and sensational neutrals.
This Sunday was just the right time to look cool and comfy in some dazzling white. I decided to spice up my white skirt with a beige blouse and a beige and gold hat. I also added some multi-colored bangle bracelets and a pair of clear, jellybean shoes.
Some Sunday Evening Chillin'

I added a little drama to my Sunday look, but you don't have to. You can look smashing in a beautiful white blouse and some too cute black and white pants like Sister Alisha. Alisha is wearing a light and breezy white blouse and a pair of palazzo pants. She added a pop of color with a bright red purse. She added some open-toe shoes that give this look just the right touch of class and comfort. I love, love this look for weekends or a day at school or even the office! You Go, Alisha.
